Returns/ Warranty

My Order is not right. What can i do ?
If your order for whatever reason is not correct or damaged. 

1. First send us enquiry via the contact us page 
2. Provide us with your NAME, Contact number and order details(order number and description of the enquiry) and attach photos of the items you have received.(if your not able to submit photo please submit a form and we will respond to your enquiry and you should be able to attach a photo from the responded enquiry. )
3. Submit the form - Do allow up to 1-5 business days for a response before following up. If its a urgent enquiry please do contact us via phone. We do endevour to get back to all customers in a timely manner. 
 

Purchases and Returns
  1. All goods purchased have up to 1 year warranty *
  2. Return of non-detective goods will attract a 25 % restocking fee
  3. All goods returned will need to be tested by authorised Letron member before credit is given
  4. All courier charges and insurance are purchasers responsibility
  5. Warranty does not cover any damages to other equipment used in conjunction with Letron products
  6. All goods need to be return to base for warranty
  7. Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) must be readily available otherwise returns or warranty may not be honoured

Warranty

A 1-year back to base warranty covers Letron Auto gate openers if defect is covered in warranty.

 

Costs of return are at purchaser’s responsibility

 

The warranty commences on the date of sale and invoice must be retained for warranty to be honoured. The warranty covers defects of materials in the unit under normal and correct use.

 

Batteries carry a six-month warranty

Remote controls carry a three-month warranty

The unit must be correctly installed. If the gate is not opening freely in manual mode, damages occurred will void warranty.

 

When problem does arise with product within the warranty period. The customer must contact the supplier where they purchased the product from to rectify problem.

 

Periodic maintenance is mandatory

It is customer’s responsibility to engage in periodic maintenances and checks every three months for insects, loose wiring, check battery, gate movement in manual mode, solar panels surfaces are kept clean, loose bolts etc..

Failure to maintain the opener results the warranty nulled and void.

 

Warranty does not cover insects, water, fuses, storm damages, improper use or undue force.

 

Warranty is voidable when:

If unit has corrosion of metal parts, insect infestation, water damages, sand/ dirt or vegetation in unit will void the warranty.

If unit has been repaired or modified not authorised by Letron

Unit has been subject to misuse and / or undue force.

The fitting and use of accessories or components other then Letron supplied or authorised may affect the performance of Letron motors and void the warranty.
